Sophie, tax and financial expert for French people in Germany

Sophie

I've been living in Munich for 12 years and originally come from the Ardennes. While I deeply miss French cuisine, what I missed even more when I first arrived in Germany was reliable, expert advice on insurance, investments, and taxation — tailored for French people living in Germany. Ironically, I was working in the industry at the time — at Allianz. That’s why I decided to leave Allianz and create a dedicated support service for other expats in Germany facing the same challenges.
Aude, tax and financial expert for French people in Germany

Aude

I've been living in Bavaria since 2013, in a village near Munich called Reichertshausen. With an engineering background, I spent the first part of my career in industry — partly in the aerospace sector. Even though I was well integrated and fluent in German, we needed guidance when purchasing our primary residence. That’s how I discovered Expat Finances — and I immediately found their areas of expertise genuinely interesting. At the time, my salaried job didn’t offer enough flexibility to take care of my two children. So I made the decision to resign and join the Expat Finances team. Originally from Perpignan, I may no longer have the sea… but here in Bavaria, we have the beer!

Emmanuelle

I’ve been living in Augsburg for 5 years and come from the South of France, where I worked as an independent chartered accountant. A strong desire for something new — among other things — brought me to Bavaria with my husband and children. I’ve kept my passion for teaching and helping people manage their finances. Building on my background in tax and financial management, I decided to expand into wealth advisory — naturally focusing on French nationals living in Germany. What do I miss the most? The sun and the food, of course! But here we have lakes, mountains… and plenty of joy in everyday life!

Camille

Arriving in Munich with just a suitcase for a weekend — the day before the Covid lockdown — I ended up staying for good. Since then, a little girl has joined our family — born here, she already speaks almost better German than we do!

Before this German adventure, I was working in France as a consultant in professional training. When I arrived here, I quickly realized that navigating the healthcare, pension, investment, and insurance systems could easily turn into a real headache. Instead of keeping all that to myself, I decided to turn this experience into practical guidance for others.

Today, I help you secure your situation and boost your finances — all without jargon or hassle, but with efficiency and a smile!

Florence, tax and financial expert for French people in Germany

Florence

A Berlin resident since 2012, I first came to the city after my studies to learn German — and ended up building my entire professional life here. After working various salaried jobs, I decided to try entrepreneurship… and quickly got overwhelmed by the many administrative steps and procedures. While looking for help, I came across the Expat Finances team. Their approach won me over — so much so that I decided to join them and offer my own expertise to French nationals living in Germany. I may not be able to offer you a real buttery croissant… but I’ll definitely help you get your finances in order.
Mélanie, expat finance expert in taxation and finance

Mélanie

Like many French nationals, I came to Germany thinking I’d stay for just six months for an internship… and here I am, 10 years later — now Franco-German, married to a German, and with no plans to leave! My career started in the luxury and duty-free sector, but it was during the COVID pandemic that I discovered the fascinating world of personal finance — and it quickly became a true passion. So, I thought: why not make it my profession? Today, I spend my days helping you build wealth, educating and motivating you to save and invest — and I absolutely love it! I’d be happy to support you in reaching your financial goals — always with positivity and good energy 😊
Martial, tax and finance expert for French people in Germany

Martial

I've been living in Frankfurt for 10 years, having moved to Germany in search of a new adventure — one that first led me into a career in banking. After several years of experience, I decided to transition into independent financial advising. This decision was driven not only by a desire to take on new professional challenges, but also by the need to offer concrete solutions to expatriates in Germany, who often face complex administrative and financial systems. It’s this commitment to supporting both French and English-speaking expats that naturally led me to join the Expat Finances team. Today, I use my expertise to help others who, like me, have chosen to live and work across the Rhine. I may not have the perfect pretzel recipe — but when it comes to your finances, Martial is here to help you make sense of it all.
François, tax and finance expert for French people in Germany

François

After 25 years in business development within the banking sector in France and internationally, I chose to take a new path when I moved to Frankfurt in 2022: becoming a financial advisor and supporting French nationals living in Germany. I bring my skills, experience, and love of human connection to help each client build their savings and grow their wealth, while guiding them through important financial decisions. I also assist with selecting the right health and insurance coverage. What gets me out of bed each morning with enthusiasm? Knowing that every new client meeting is the beginning of a journey — one I approach with sincerity and professionalism.

Marion

After studying abroad (in Europe and beyond), I settled in Regensburg in 2019. Managing my finances has always been a priority, which naturally led me to seek expert advice to explore the opportunities available once I was established in Germany. A few years later, the opportunity to become a financial advisor arose — allowing me to support expatriates in Germany in building solid financial strategies to achieve their goals, while helping them overcome the language barrier. That’s how I embarked on this new adventure. Today, I support my clients in French, English, and German.

If you're looking to give new momentum to your financial goals and benefit from personalized advice tailored to your expat situation, feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to support you at every step of your journey.
